The Rotaract Club of Grand Cayman and Rotary Sunrise partnered for one of our major projects on August 15th - 16th where we lent a big hand to Miss Nadine's Pre-school. Both clubs came together to show our support to The National Council of Voluntary Organizations (NCVO) by assisting them in painting their pre-school in preparation for the new school year.

NCVO is a non-profit, charitable organization which is home to Miss Nadine's Pre-school which offers high quality education and care to children and families in need. They are also home to the NCVO bargain shop & Foster Home. Directors of Community Service David Watler of Rotary Sunrise & Catherine Welds of Rotaract worked together with Alta Solomon of the NCVO to plan the project which began without a hitch at 9:30 am Saturday Morning. The project became a huge success and was made possible by the unwavering support of over 38 volunteers which was inclusive of Rotaractors, Rotarians, friends & family. The volunteers spent the day painting the interior of Miss Nadine's Pre-school and the Bargain shop. We thoroughly enjoyed a wonderful day of painting, fun and Fellowship. Both organizations look forward to more joint projects in the future. Director of Community Service Cathrine Welds, would also like to thank the Rotary Club of Grand Cayman Sunrise for their continuous support and guidance over the past few years and really appreciates the time spent with them to produce our future leaders of our Community.
