Gimistory 2009

In our continued efforts to encourage the fostering of our local culture through our assistance with The Cayman National Cultural Foundation, members of the Rotaract Club of Grand Cayman gladly volunteered for the annual outdoor production of the CNCF's "Gimistory" storytelling evening on April 23, 2009.
The Foundation, which heavily relies on its community based volunteers, assigned us to the management of their promotional items & raffle ticket booth, with a bird's eye view of the performers on the event's stage. All proceeds collected were in aid of their latest project - "Save Miss Lassie's House", through which an educational and recreational centre will be built for young artists in the community. The event was well enjoyed by the attending members, who got to have a good laugh as they worked for the cause.
