On Friday, March 13th, the Rotaract Club of Grand Cayman participated in our second tree planting with our green partner - Tony's Toys, since July 2008. This effort was a special one in honor of "World Rotaract Week", which celebrates the chartering of the first Rotaract Club. The Club was charged to encourage green living, protection and replenishment of the environment by their Rotaract District leaders and was excited to promote this theme to our community and especially the students at the John A. Cumber Primary School, in West Bay.

The Club's members planted young mahogany trees on the compound, which the kids will get to enjoy during their break times, as they grow. The Rotaract Club of Grand Cayman encourages the public to continue to increase their efforts in green living and will continue to promote environmental preservation through its service projects. Special thanks to Mr. Alfredo Powery, the faculty and students of the John A. Cumber Primary School and Tony's Toys for their participation in this project.
