The Rotaract Club of Grand Cayman has assisted the Humane Society once again, by taking the lovely dogs housed at the Society for an Obedience Dog Training session held on the Seven Mile public beach. On Saturday, May 17th 8 Rotaractors, 2 perspective members and 1 guest arrived at 9am to the Humane Society to collect the dogs and then transport them to the Seven Mile Public beach which proved to be in an adventure in itself.

When they arrived at the beach, they were greeted by the Humane Society Dog Trainer and his Assistant as well as other members of the public with their own pets. Through an enlightening and educational hour of obedience training, the dogs were taught basic commands and learned to trust their handler's guidance. The Rotaractors thoroughly enjoyed the session, and felt that the tips learned proved to be advantageous for them on their future dog walking projects. It was a wonderful time spent and yet another successful project completed. This is one of the many projects the Rotaract Club of Grand Cayman has undertaken since being chartered over two years ago.
