CYB Paloma Project

As a special Holiday treat for 10 Cayman Brac kids, our Club, hosted them this past Saturday for an entire day of fun activities, away from the every day effects of Hurricane Paloma, on their homes. Sarge Adrean, President Victor and Prospective Member Susan were among the members who greeted our young guests at the airport bright and early and transported them around the island for an awesome adventure.
The day began with a hearty breakfast at Burger King and continued on to a local game room for some gaming fun. After lunch, the kids enjoyed a newly released movie matinee, shopping at several stores & participating in our Club's gift wrapping fundraiser. As the evening approached & there were some flight delays, the extra time to be enjoyed called for pizza and more gaming fun! Then it was "all aboard" as the kids prepared to travel back home to Cayman Brac. Having submitted letters about themselves and the effect Hurricane Paloma had on their families, our Club members were aware of just how necessary this break was for the kids and extended every effort to achieve its success. The kids were also treated to a gift donated by Monster Video. All in all, it was a great way for us to spread Christmas cheer, rewarding & fun for all!
